Berry Bliss

I loved this poem, so much so that before I wrote this, I had to read it again. Berry spoke simply, but not plainly. He did not elaborate his thoughts more than necessary, but put them out there once and let them free. He does not try to persuade with argument. Instead, his style is to paint an image of bliss, and let his reader chase after that image if she pleases. He gives specific directions on how to do this, one of few environmentalist writers who spends more time giving advice for positive living instead of nagging about the negative.
